My 12-week transformation might be complete, but Iām not going to stop there.
Iām not going to rest on my laurels ā Iāve got new goals to strive for with Ultimate Performance.
My goals now are to maintain what Iāve achieved, but I want to get even fitter and stronger. I donāt want to plateau at the same place forever and ever.
Iād love to be in a place at Christmas where I can lift even heavier and do more lengths on the prowler.

Iād never really had a training plan or diet to follow before I started at Ultimate Performance; it was more a case of just as and when I could find the time.
If I was hungry and hadnāt prepped my food, Iād grab something on the go. Training-wise, Iād squeeze in an hour here or there ā or go for a quick walk.
There was no consistency or purpose to really change anything and thatās why I wanted this programme to give me that end goal.
If you have a purpose in anything you do, youāre more likely to do it and achieve what you want.
Doing anything without a purpose just seems pointless to me, so I just wanted something I could knuckle down on, have an end date and just graft until I got there.

What I achieved in 12 weeks at UP was amazing (and I canāt wait to share my final results with you) ā but I want to build on that. I want to learn more. I want to see how far I can progress.
Iām not necessarily bothered about how I look, I just donāt want to get too lean.
Iāve had people message me saying ādonāt go too far!ā and I think āwhat the hell is too far?ā
I know what my body can do and I know what my body is capable of, but I also know when to rest and when Iām tired.
Iām always the first to say if I think I look too thin, because Iām 5ft 9, so I tend to look like Olive Oyl from Popeye if I go too thin.
Iām always the first to say to Steve āIām feeling a bit too lean, can we up my carbsā and we can change things up like upping my carbs and dropping my cardio.
There are always things you can do to change how you look, but for me, as long as Iām fit and healthy and happy, I think how you look is just the icing on the cake.

For people going into a programme, because they purely want to look good is maybe the wrong reason. Youāve got to start by wanting to feel good, and feel strong and feel fit, then everything else falls into place.
You donāt always get results straight away on Day 1, physically. Quite often youāll start to feel better before you look better.
If you go in thinking āI want to look good in a weekā, itās easy to give up and think itās not working.
Looking good comes as a byproduct of the consistency with your training and diet, sleeping well and looking after yourself.
The best thing you can do to get there is set yourself some concrete goals and then do everything in your power to make them happen.
