U.P. Launches World-Class Cheshire Gym With VIP Party

The Ultimate Performance team celebrated the official opening of our new Cheshire gym with an exclusive launch party and packed guestlist of TV stars, current and past clients and guests from across Cheshire.

It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to tour our state-of-the-art gym, meet our brilliant U.P. Cheshire personal training team, and hear how we achieve our world-famous body transformation results…as well as enjoy music, drinks and a great night.

Our U.P. Cheshire gym is the first of its kind, bringing our world-class personal training and results out of a major city centre and directly to clients around Alderley in rural Cheshire.

Mark Bohannon, Head of U.P. North, led the official opening of our new gym, which we hope will follow the huge success of our Manchester gym.

He said: “U.P. Cheshire is Ultimate Performance’s newest gym in the UK. It is the first gym we have had anywhere in the world outside of a metropolitan city centre.

“Tonight was our launch event and it was great to see lots of clients and new faces too.

“What we have created in Alderley is truly unique, bringing to the village our world-class personal trainers, state-of-the-art training facilities and outstanding body transformation program that we have built our global reputation on.”

Mark, who was named Personal Trainer of the Year at last year’s UK Fitness Awards, spoke about the results-driven training and nutrition methodology that has cemented our status as the world leader in body transformation, which is now available to homes based across Cheshire.

“With our transformations, our goal is to get clients in the best possible shape in the shortest possible time.

Mark was joined by Gemma Atkinson, who talked about her own journey with us and her 12-week body transformation which helped her get in the shape of her life before appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Emmerdale actress and Hits Radio presenter Gemma said: “It has been an amazing turnout tonight. There’s been lots of lovely food and lots of people have come to support the new gym.

“I’ve been training with U.P. for around four years now and I’ve literally found there’s nothing that works better for me and there’s nothing else I enjoy more.”

Gemma, who reached the finals of Strictly last year, spoke about the benefits of training beyond her impressive 12-week transformation.

“What I’ve enjoyed most is the knowledge I’ve taken from it. It’s the knowledge I’ve got from the guys at U.P. – I know what I’m capable of.

“When I did Strictly, I put about a stone on during the show because I wasn’t training and I just went ‘whatever’ with my diet.

“That would have usually panicked me, but because I know what to do now to get back and feel my best, it took about three weeks for me to get back to what I was. That was just from what I’ve taken away from everyone at U.P. These guys tell you everything you need to know about your body.”

Gemma was joined by her partner and Strictly co-star Gorka Marquez, along with Hollyoaks actress and U.P. client Sarah Jayne Dunn, Coronation Street favourites Tina O’Brien, Sair Khan and Tisha Merry, and Heart Radio presenter Lorna Bancroft.

Sarah Jayne Dunn, who completed her own 12-week online transformation with us for her wedding day, was one of the first to get the chance to train at the new U.P. Cheshire gym.

Sarah said: “I was actually the first client to train at the new U.P. Cheshire gym, which was so exciting to come in and see the gym come together. I am local to the area – this gym is literally a three-minute drive away from me, so it’s fantastic to be a part of such a great company that’s expanding.

“The facility is amazing and the gym is light and airy, the trainers here are fantastic, and it’s really nice to continue my U.P. journey in a gym that’s so close to me.”
